Adam Gold was the Managing Partner of Espial Capital Management and the Fund’s Chief Investment Officer.
Prior to founding Espial, Adam was a Portfolio Manager at Gilder Gagnon Howe & Co (GGHC) in New York, a $5 billion investment firm with a focus on global growth investing. Prior to GGHC, Adam was a Research Analyst at Coatue Management, a $10 billion global technology, media, telecom long-short equity fund.
Adam began his career freshmen week working at EnTrust Capital, a then $700 million long-short equity fund, as an Intern and Summer Analyst. He became a full-time Research Analyst upon graduation, taking over responsibility for EnTrust’s technology, media and telecommunication investments.
Graduating early from New York University’s Stern School of Business, Adam holds numerous honors and distinctions and a B.S. Magna Cum Laude with double-majors in Finance and Accounting, and a minor in Journalism & Mass Communication. Adam remained active in NYU alumni affairs, sitting on various executive leadership boards in New York.
In 2013, he launched Espial’s Philanthropic Endeavor – the Espial Foundation.
